Not a scarf, not a collar...
...but maybe a "scolla"?! Clearly I still love that pink homespun-style wool. This is a made-up-as-I-went-along lil number, which I shall name Myrtle. I love it's guts out already!
that's FABULOUS! I love it. Clever you. I like the fact that it's a scarf that no one can strangle you from behind with. Not that I worry about that or anything.
Thanks peeps! I gave it it's first real test-run today, and it performed pretty well on the hole (oops! That's not where you wear it... I meant "on the whole"! Mind you...). Surprisingly warm for such a little skerrit of knitting. Ms Proctor - it was pretty easy to make... if you can knit a basic stitch and cast on and off then you're almost home. Drop by sometime and I'll run you through it... :-)
Ever since my grade two dilemma of truck driver versus librarian, I have struggled with the idea of what to be when I grow up. Consequently I dabble in various life and career ideas, invariably losing interest before really making anything of myself!
