Marika's couch came to live with us on Australia Day. We already love it very much. We think the house has absorbed it with ease.
We are fostering the Shag print, which has pride of place in the bedroom...Shag by name, shag by...well, you know the rest!

Re the typecase on my blog, I forget the name of the shop where I got it but it's basically the only large antiques store on Mailing Road, Canterbury. It's on the railway line side of the street about half way along. It's built into an old theatre apparently so maybe the building looks something like that - I didn't pay attention ;)
